What happens when FitRev’s March member of the month doesn’t show up for class on March 1st?! We track her down, of course!

Congrats to our March member of the month, Amy Parrett! We love you, Amy!

There will always be a reason why you meet people. Either you need to change your life or you’re the one that will change theirs.

That’s the exact quote Amy posted on Instagram to express how thankful she is for FitRev the day Michelle surprised her at work to tell her the exciting news. But, actually thank YOU, Amy. Your smiling face and constant positive attitude has changed FitRev in so many ways. Your success since this summer is amazing and you continue to get stronger every day! We are so grateful to have you a part of our family, or how you say #FRFitnessTribe.

When you’re not at FR or at work, where can we find you?

In my car!!!! I am usually driving my children to and from practice doing laps around NR.

 

What’s your favorite post-workout snack/meal?

Banana & Almond butter w/coconut in it.  Kind of addicted to it.

 

What keeps you motivated?

My family definitely does.  My husband works so hard and my kids are so good, I just want to be there for them!

 

Any mantra you repeat during an especially grueling workout? 

YES.. it’s on the wall above the treadmills…”Don’t start what you can’t finish” In fact today I was tired on the treadmill and looked up and read it…it kept me going!

 

Which superpower would you like to have?

Maybe not a superpower…but definitely a magic wand!

 

Who has inspired you in your life and why? 

Gees, my mom has so much. She has built her business Laschi Hairstylists from the ground up.  Over 55 years in business.  She is such a strong woman and very successful.  I love that my sisters and I can carry on the business now and let her enjoy her life!

If you could live anywhere for one year where would you live? 

Easy- Isle of Palms South Carolina.

 

You’re a semifinalist on American Idol.  Which song to do sing to win it all?

Have you ever had a nickname?  What is it?

AJ  my first name is AmyJo hence the AJ.

 

If you had a warning label on you, what would it say? 

“So sorry but I drive like an ass!”

 

Starbucks or Dunkin?

Starbucks.

 

What’s one thing you will never do again?

Zip line in NH….I was sooooooo scared!

 

Finish this sentence, “If I had one more hour in the day, I would…”

Take a nap! So boring, I know!

 

What’s one thing about you someone wouldn’t know unless they really knew you? 

This was hard because the Justin Beiber thing is out there already.  BUT….I hate heights and amusement park rides so much!

 

Current relationship status with Justin Bieber:

Well I will have to let you know after his concert in May 🙂 He is def still one of my favorites.

 

You’re a new addition to the Crayola family. Which color are you and why?

Pink Glitterati- In honor of my daughter Sophia…if you know her you will know why!

 

What’s your favorite memory at FitRev?

I guess its conglomerative from when I first stepped foot in FR so nervous and then felt at ease by the smiles around me… to getting on the treadmill  and actually sprinting at sprinting pace, which was a great feeling! Then up to now, when I am there at a class and can be helpful to someone new and make them feel at ease.
