Fit Cross. If you are a new visitor to Fit Rev, you are probably asking yourself, “what IS this class.” The term Fit Cross doesn’t exactly explain what you are about to jump into. But it does gives you one hint: You WILL be getting – “FIT.” But the questions remain –  what exactly is Fit Cross and why does our Fit Rev family love this class so much?!

Let’s start with the class description:

Fit cross workouts are designed to challenge you on every level and will constantly change. Designed to challenge your muscles and your mind we will work through circuits using functional equipment, cardio training, and much more. You will see an amazing increase in your overall aerobic and muscular fitness.

If you follow any fitness magazines, blogs, etc. you have noticed a trend in what is required to prevent plateauing, improve endurance, and most importantly to NOT  get stuck in a rut at the gym  – change it up.

Fit Cross constantly changes each week – the workouts, music, and even location (Summer, we miss you). Each instructor brings their own unique style to each class. Let’s start with JB.  Julie will not only challenge you with her killer workouts, but more often than not,  she will have you rolling on the floor laughing. Girl has some good one-liners and great dance moves.

Recently, Fit Cross has been set up in stations of strength &, cardio, with some insanity mixed in. Just in time for us to indulge in all that delicious turkey and vino the week of Thanksgiving, Tayla threw us a HUGE curve ball at Fit Cross, BUT she also reminded us the unique part of this class: it constantly changes.


If it doesn’t challenge you, then it doesn’t change you.

Anyone ever notice when you are around Tayla that you are instantly in a better mood?! Love her.


Surround yourself with people who push you, who challenge you, who make you laugh, who make you better, who make you happy. 

For those of you who missed Tayla’s class. Imagine a chilly November morning walking into Fit Rev at 5:00AM  (or 6:15AM) and the first thing you notice is “100 Burpees.”





After the initial shock, it took less than five minutes and the room was full of energy.  This left Tayla no choice, but to add a BONUS round halfway through class. Everyone was pushing through to finish their 100 reps, and they did! Awesome.

The class was split up into small groups. This way one group started at the burpee/lunge station,  and when they finished their reps, they moved on. This kept the class moving for the full hour. Everyone was motivated to reach the bonus round!
