January Member of the Month: Erica Mattia!
Congrats to Erica Mattia on being named FitRev’s January Member of the Month! Celebrating Erica is the best way to ring in 2019! Erica is not only the first member of the month for 2019, but our very first at our MarketStreet studio. The FitRev squad collectively chose Erica for so many reasons. She has been a constant in our MarketStreet classes. She is motivated and takes on every challenge with strength and determination. Erica is kind, caring and basically everything we look for in a member to grow our community. Congrats, Erica! We love you!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be in law enforcement. But I ended up in a government agency that serves the public everyday. I can’t say I am unhappy. I love what I do.
Which superpower would you like to have?
If I had any superpower it would be to Fly!
What are you known for?
Hard working, dedicated, compassionate, energetic and happy
If you could live anywhere for one year where would you live?
Any island. I won’t be too picky as long as I can be in warm weather and enjoy the outdoors.
What were you like in high school?
Ahhh, High School. I loved every minute of it. I enjoyed playing field hockey, basketball, and softball. I loved spending time with my friends. I learned a thing or two from some great teachers and was voted most talkative (surprise) senior year!!!
Truth or dare?
Never have I ever…love that game. And will leave that for another day!
If you could be any age for one week, what age would you be and why?
25-30. Those were the golden years.
If you had a warning label on you, what would it be?
Proceed with caution
What’s one thing you will never do again?
Go to Vegas!
What’s the one thing about you that surprises people?
That I don’t like the attention when it comes to celebrating me.
If I had one more hour in the day, I would…
Watch television cause I never do.
Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My dad. He always supported me, taught me about respect, compassion,be the best you can be, step outside your comfort zone, never give up, and the only time you ever fail is when you stop trying.
Any mantra you repeat during an especially grueling workout?
You got this!
What’s your favorite FitRev memory?
Fit Run. I loved every minute of that class. From warming up on a 15 incline, to 15 minute running intervals, walk and water, and some kick ass music, especially throwing in some country tunes.
Fit rev is more than just a gym. It is my home away from home. I have met some amazing people whom I call my friends. Michelle has built a community of instructors who are supportive, motivating, energetic, challenging, and encouraging. Every day they come with some killer workouts and always encourage us to step outside of our comfort zone and be the best version of your self.
